Single-family houses in Andalusia. Sensory architecture: between light and shadow

Located in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, in the community of Alosno, Huelva, Spain, the building renovated by the architectural studio Castillo Oli relying on sensory architecture

A dead-end building is projected outwards, white, round, that negates its deficiencies.
This is the architect's project viewed from the outside. A solid prism that encloses the corner in its white matter

During the day it is just a wink, the permanence of a memory for what it was, that rounded corner...
At night, the evanescence of the tectonics, the light that passes through the stone, the material that affirms itself and at the same time blurs

Inside, diaphanous spaces separated by glass surfaces that play with light, reflections and immateriality.
The interior, Arabic in its verticality, dissipates heat from above, the shadow below, the air circulating through the moving water

The space is imbued with impressions, lights, shadow and matter are mixed in the environment of the renovation carried out by the design studio Castillo Oli.
The building won the XXII Architecture Award from the official school of architects in Huelva
