Arrokabe arquitectos is a studio located in Santiago de Compostela formed, since May 2006, by the brothers Óscar Andrés Quintela (Bilbao, 1969 / architect ETSAUN 1994) and Iván Andrés Quintela (Bilbao, 1980 / architect ETSAUN 2004). The work of the office starts from a special attention to the preexistence, material and / or cultural, seeks to build a language on the concrete and deepens the expressive capacity of the materials and the appropriate and suitable construction techniques. They have specialized in rehabilitation, wood architecture and energy efficiency. The work in the study has been combined with other activities, in particular the management of offices of rehabilitation of historical complexes, the curator of exhibitions, coordination and teaching work in the master's degree of urban regeneration and rehabilitation_USC and collaborations as teachers in the master's degree in structural wood engineering_USC. Currently they collaborate in the Factory House of the Santiago Cathedral Foundation in coordination and management of temple restoration works
